Become an Investment Expert for Fusion: Connect with Capital
Fusion: Connect with Capital is a high-impact investment readiness programme within the UK Space Agency Accelerator, designed to help ambitious UK space ventures preparing to raise £100k–£2m in seed or pre-seed investment. Through expert coaching, investor-led workshops, tailored 1:1 support and direct access to investors, Fusion equips founders with the skills, confidence and connections needed to successfully raise capital.
We are looking for five experienced investors to support our next Fusion cohort, starting in November 2026.
Ideally, you'll have experience investing in the space sector, with an understanding of the unique opportunities, challenges and investment landscape facing space businesses. This could include experience through venture capital, angel investing, corporate venture, family offices or other investment funds. We also welcome applications from experienced early-stage investors with a strong interest in supporting the UK space ecosystem.
This is a paid opportunity and will involve supporting the programme through the following activities:
Support entrepreneur selection by taking part in virtual interviews during September and October 2026 to assess programme applicants.
Attend the two-day Fusion Bootcamp in London (November 2026), supporting entrepreneurs and collaborating with the wider delivery team at the start of the programme.
Deliver a 60-minute investment workshop, either in person at Bootcamp or virtually, sharing practical fundraising insights and expertise.
Provide monthly 1:1 coaching for up to three entrepreneurs, helping strengthen their investment proposition, fundraising strategy and investor readiness.
Join virtual 'Pitch to an Expert' sessions (November 2026–March 2027), providing constructive feedback on pitches and investment materials.
Attend the Fusion Demo Day in March 2027 (format TBC), connecting with entrepreneurs, fellow investors and the wider ecosystem.
Champion the Fusion programme by promoting it within your network and inviting at least five relevant investors to attend Demo Day.
Be open to potential investment opportunities within the cohort through your fund or network (no commitment to invest required).
