What can you expect from Geo?
Our criteria
To apply for the Geo programme, you must:
Have a UK registered business and intend to operate in the UK
Be an entrepreneur in the space sector, or in another sector using space technology
Be working full time on the business
Have commercial traction in the space sector. This means:
A minimum of either £500k of funding raised (investment, grants and/or debt) or £500k of annualised revenue
We will accept revenue projections of £500k where there is a clear trajectory based on current and historic performance
What You Will Get
Geo is a 6-month bespoke programme designed and tailored to help you drive your business towards scale. Working in depth with our experts over a sustained period you will build on the foundations you have laid, evolve as a leader and strategically position your business for sustained growth. You will also build a lasting network with an amazing cohort of like-minded founders on a similar journey.
This six-month bespoke programme includes:
Welcome In-Person Boot Camp style event to introduce you to the programme, set the pace and for you to get to know your fellow cohort members
Access to Canvas – a cutting-edge business growth tool to help you prioritise your focus areas
Fortnightly world-class enablement 1:1’s with entrepreneurial growth and technical commercialisation enablers
Fortnightly interactive workshops targeting areas that you as the entrepreneur need to move you and your business to the next level
Personalised, strategic workshops for the founding and wider team on topics selected by you and the enablement team to help move you and your business forward – run by mentors, partners or the enablement team
Acceler8 - Mid-programme in person get together with the cohort, funders and wider support eco-system designed to propel your business to the next level
Regular Tech Drop-In's with our technical enablers
Regular Pitching sessions with our enablement team to ensure you are pitch ready
Networking socials with alumni, current cohorts, mentors and partners – an opportunity to really grow your network in the space sector
Access to our expert mentors that support in areas such as raising VC investment, product development road mapping, IP, leadership development and much more
The Orbit Series – deep dive sessions in an intimate group setting focused on a specialist area
Access to our national roadshow of Trajectory events, including pitching to corporate stakeholders and investors across the UK

Outcomes
As Geo is bespoke to you, we work with you on the goals you wish to achieve. Whether your goals are to raise finance, improve your company culture, prepare operations for growth, recruit a team of skilled and talented employees amongst much more, we will work with you to determine what is vital for you. With our business enabler team alongside our consortium of partners including Fraser Nash and Deloitte, we will push you in the right direction and help you achieve your most ambitious goals.
Price of play
This programme is fully funded by the UK Space Agency
You must be available for our in-person Boot Camp event on 16th January in London.
There is one other compulsory element to the programme, which you must attend at least 80% to continue participating:
1:1 enablement sessions held fortnightly, date and time chosen to fit your diary
As detailed above, there are many other opportunities available to you. We recommend that you commit 4-6 hours per week to participation, including prep and follow-up time
Application and interview process
The next Geo programme will start in September 2024.
If you are eligible for Geo, we will send you an invitation to book an interview.
You must be available to complete a live video interview on Microsoft Teams. The interview will last 20 minutes, and you will be required to prepare a short pitch with no slides.
Our panel will review your application and let you know the outcome within 10 working days.
