Momentum, Mindset and Investment at the UK Space Agency Accelerator Trajectory
On the 4th of November, the UK Space Agency Accelerator brought together entrepreneurs, alumni, investors and partners for Trajectory, a focused day designed to support growth, learning and connection across the space ecosystem.
With the return of our Trajectory roadshow, the day showcased the power of connection, shared learning and collective ambition across the UK space ecosystem.
Trajectory: Connecting Space Ventures with Regional Ecosystems
On the 4th of November, we delivered Trajectory, our space startup roadshow designed to connect current cohorts and alumni with regional business ecosystems, with a strong focus on investment for growth.
We were joined by an excellent line-up of speakers who shared practical insights and real-world experience, including Doug Liddle, Vishal Soomaney Vijaykumar from Messium, and Shruti Iyengar, who has provided invaluable support across our Fusion cohorts. Their perspectives sparked thoughtful discussion around scaling, capital and navigating the investment landscape.
A highlight of the day was the pitching competition, which demonstrated the exceptional quality and ambition of ventures across our community. Founders delivered compelling pitches to a panel of experienced judges, showcasing both technical excellence and clear commercial potential. Congratulations to Dr Zied Tayeb of MyelinZ, who took home the win in a highly competitive field. It was also fantastic to reconnect with alumni including Bianca Cefalo, Sara Alão and Kirthi Gogulamudi, reinforcing the strength and continuity of our accelerator network.
Connecting with the Wider Space Ecosystem
Beyond the main stage, Trajectory created multiple opportunities for meaningful connection across the ecosystem. Throughout the day, teams took part in an Investor Quest, engaging through a series of challenges designed to spark conversation, test assumptions and encourage founders to clearly articulate their value propositions.
It was also a particularly significant moment for our Shuttle cohorts, who joined a Trajectory event for the first time, marking a key breakthrough point as they engaged directly with the space ecosystem. Designed for companies outside the space sector who are exploring a potential pivot into space, Shuttle founders were able to test their thinking, build confidence and make meaningful connections. Combined with dedicated networking moments, the day proved to be a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, exchange insights and strengthen ties across the regional and national space ecosystem.
In addition, the day was strengthened by the continued involvement of our partners, whose expertise and collaboration add depth and practical value to Trajectory. Their presence helped ensure conversations were grounded in real-world insight, supporting founders as they navigated questions around growth, investment and commercialisation across the space sector. Amongst the attendees were mentors Olaf Swanzy, Balazs Slezak and Gabriella Goddard, alongside partners including Jo Nisbet from Harper Macleod and the Exotopic team, all whom played an active role in discussions and activities across the day.
Looking Ahead
With Trajectory successfully delivered, we look forward to continuing to connect space ventures with investors, partners and regional ecosystems. We’re excited to bring the community together again at the next Trajectory event in February.
